The deal, initially announced on April 23, broadens the range of Infor by integrating advanced solutions for products management configuration for enterprises belonging to the manufacturing sector and the distribution sector . The configuration suite Infor PCM has been designed for XA . It is a module to create 2D drawings , 3D models, photographic images and documents BuyDesign for Infor ERP XA ( MAPICS ) .
PCM makes Infor ERP XA (MAPICS) an ideal solution for manufacturers with engineer-to-order, configure-to-order, manufacture-to-order, and/or assemble-to-order products.
It has been designed from the ground up to help manufacturers and trading partners sell customized products. By becoming "easier to do business with" trading partners will spend more time selling your products.
This new configurator suite is sold and supported by Infor and Infor affiliates as the Infor PCM.
